Cajun Recipes
| Cajun Poultry Burgers |
Ingredients:
1 lb (500g) ground turkey or chicken
1 onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup (60ml) finely chopped green or red pepper
2 tsp (5ml) Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp (15ml) VE Cajun seasoning
Instructions:
- In a medium bowl, combine all ingredients.
- Form into 5 patties.
- Grill or broil on each side, until cooked through.
- Serve on toasted buns with VE salsa and lots of lettuce.

| VE Cajun mushrooms |
Ingredients:
2lbs (1kg) small button mushrooms
1/2 cup (125ml) Worcestershire sauce
1/2 lemon, juiced
1 tbsp (15ml) VE Cajun seasoning
VE salt and VE pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Clean mushrooms with a damp cloth. Trim the woody ends from stems
- Melt the butter in heave sauté pan, add Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice and VE Cajun seasoning
- Add mushroom, toss to coat. Cook at high heat, stirring constantly for 10 min.
